“I hired Moldeaters to remediate my attic, which had gotten a bunch of mold in it. From start to finish, this was probably one of my best experiences with a contractor (I’ve worked with 30+ over the course of many remodels). Starting with the initial contact on their web page form, Brandt responded within a couple hours via email and I had an appointment set up that week. He was very professional and made sure to address a plan for both remediating the mold and addressing the underlying issue, which in this case was a poorly routed bathroom fan and insufficient crest ventilation. The bid was reasonable for the scope of work, and I accepted and was able to get an appointment for the work on a day of my choosing about 4 weeks later (they could have done it faster but I needed to make it past payday)! The day of, they showed up on time, were very careful to keep the rest of the house clean, and worked very efficiently given the space constraints. They did about half a house worth of attic space remediation, installed 4 vents and re routed a bathroom fan before about 1 pm. Everything was left super clean, and the attic looks practically brand new with no signs of mold on the OSB whatsoever—it looks like it came out of the factory again. While I hope I don’t need any more remediation in the near future, these will be my go to guys if I do.”
